Vanilla Forums 2 Released
Five years after the first Vanilla Forums, version 2 has now been released. Mark O’Sullivan made the announcement on the Vanilla Forums blog.
Vanilla Forums is an open source software — you can download it and run it on your own servers or use their hosted version. The Vanilla guys (Mark O’Sullivan and Todd Burry) have a great story – starting the company many years ago, going to Boulder, Colorado to participate in TechStars and then moving to Montreal after raising seed capital from Montreal Startup.
From their blog:
Vanilla 2 is more than forum software, it is built with the goal of helping communities grow by any means necessary: SEO optimization, participation-driving custom features, or simply a better user experience.
