After presenting at the recent TechCrunch Disrupt, Shwowp has now launched more openly in private beta. The company is making its social purchase sharing platform available to the 2000+ people on its waiting list and extending invites elsewhere (such as on TechCrunch).
Shwowp’s new site emphasizes two value propositions: (1) Organize Your Purchases; and (2) Share With Friends. The goal is to eventually help vendors better target discounts and promotions to consumers based on their purchasing habits, and help consumers control their purchase information.
According to the TechCrunch article, Shwowp plans to open up to all users in November.
