An important move at Praized Media, after making a significant pivot in late June by launching their social lead generation product, Needium,  the board is now naming Peter Diedrich as their new President and CEO.

Peter Diedrich is a seasoned executive with experience in growing sales and scaling operations in technology and software startups, as well as established enterprises. His experience in IT/Telecom as well as his extensive background as a venture capitalist complete the picture. The board is confident that he is the right person to lead the Company through this next period of growth

Praized has had an interesting life so far, adjusting a couple of times from their original vision, this new product seems very well timed and according to CTO Sylvain Carle is gaining promising traction with SMBs, helping connect them with real opportunities mined through social networks.

Needium, powered by Praized Media, is the flagship managed service offering that our customers and partners have begun to use to grow their businesses via social media. The combination of social media, real-time search, and location has allowed us to deliver this pioneering product platform and service, focused on delivering actionable, real-time sales leads for businesses and merchants. – Board Chairman Jean Pierre Ouellet

By the same occasion Jean-Pierre Ouellet is moving into the role of Chairman of the Board.

They obviously didn’t care to check out the real Peter Diedrich.  Had they done their homework, they’d have known he has a history of wearing out his welcome.

Tbaytel couldn’t get rid of him fast enough.  He has zero people skills and prefers to dictate to, rather than work with his employees.
