NextMontréal on Twitter
As you might have already noticed, we are trying to find a number of ways for people to participate in NextMontréal, on of those being volunteers who are interested in writing once in a while, as inspiration strikes. We also have a growing list of featured columnists who write regularly scheduled columns. We will also be looking for people attending events to write up some coverage of those events.
We also want to make it simple for people to send interesting content and content ideas our way. You can of course use email but we’ll also use Twitter. Here’s how it will work.
- Follow @nextmontreal.
- Identify a story you think would interest NextMontréal readers. (i.e. mostly locally focused stories about startups in web, mobile, gaming and life sciences as well as announcements, events and business related coverage)
- Send us the link through Twitter. To do that you can either direct message us, @ us or simply post a normal tweet talking about the link you want to draw our attention to and add either the hashtag #nextmontreal or the shorter #nextmtl. We will be monitoring our account and those hashtags.
- It can be an article you found or one you wrote yourself, as long as it’s of interest and fits within the guideline above, we want to hear about it.
- Depending on volume, either every day or every couple of days we’ll write a post on the site with our selection of the suggested links and who referred it to us.
Pretty simple. So please, feel free to send those stories our way.
