5 Startups Selected to Present at Startup Camp Montreal 7

by Ben Yoskovitz on January 7, 2011

startup camp montreal 7The five startups presenting at Startup Camp Montreal 7 have been chosen. They include:

It’s interesting to see Geotoko on the list because they’re based in Vancouver. The CEO & co-founder of Geotoko is Adarsh Pallian, who previously sold Chart.ly to Stocktwits.

Startup Camp Montreal 7 is on Thursday, January 20th. The 5 presenting companies will have a chance to get on stage and pitch to the audience. We’ve covered Startup Camp previously including a detailed interview with Perry Evans, who will be keynoting the event. Perry is a successful serial entrepreneur (starting with MapQuest), focused on the location-based space. His input and feedback on Geotoko and TaskHire (both location-related) should be very interesting.

Training Mobs, Wajam and MatchFWD have yet to launch, but it sounds like Training Mobs and Wajam are very close to doing so. MatchFWD is still very early, but focused on a very interesting space (referrals + recommendations) where a lot of startups continue to emerge, including Hashable and Namesake.

We’ll be profiling all of the presenting companies in the next little while, so stay tuned for more news.
