Join us on November 6th for YESocializing’s first Elevator Pitch Competition at Brutopia. We will host a 5 a 7 (we have the place until 8), pints will be $5, courtesy of our friends at Brutopia, and the competition will start at 6pm sharp.
For those of you who don’t know, this is part of our monthly social events where young startup enthusiasts, local startups, and experienced mentors/investors unite in one location to meet, socialize and network. If you are a young entrepreneur, or just a simple startup fanatic looking to break into the world of entrepreneurship, this is your opportunity to participate in the startup community and join a family of like-minded entrepreneurs in MTL to exchange ideas, help each other out, and receive valuable knowledge that you might not be able to find elsewhere.
The rules are simple:
Each startup will be given 60 to 90 seconds to give us their pitch followed by a short Q&A session.
Judges will then select the top 2 finalists.
The audience will then pick the winner.
Prizes:
First place will be interviewed and featured on NEXT Montreal.
Consolation prize for second place.
Everyone will receive constructive feedback from a panel of highly experienced judges to improve this crucial skill.
