There’s more news coming out of FounderFuel, the startup accelerator funded by Real Ventures. Ian Jeffrey (who runs the program) says that 10 startups have been selected, and the program will start officially on August 15th. He’s not revealing the names of the startups yet – so we’ll have to wait for that news.
Beyond that:
- Their demo day is scheduled for November 8th.
- The program will run out of Notman House, which means they’ll be organizing a number of public events that others (outside of FounderFuel) can participate in.
- They’ve pulled in a number of corporate sponsors and supporters including: Red Bull, Amazon AWS, Rackspace, iWeb, QITX and Microsoft BizSpark
- There are now over 100 mentors.
It’s not clear yet when they’ll announce the teams, but we’ll keep you posted.
